Notes:
PIM pricing is based on a combination of the hardware required to host the PIM and the development environment, software license fees, and tiered cell pricing. In addition, there are accessories that can be added to a configuration.
Hardware to support a PIM installation can be bought by Flavors, or we can provide you with specifications and vendor contacts so that prices and terms can be negotiated directly.
Software license fees include PIM runtime software and development environment software. Though the development environment pricing is fixed, the runtime license can vary based on configuration, such as single-board VME vs. multiple board VME vs. NT-PIM.
A “per cell” license fee exists for the processing cells. Processing cells are sold in a tiered system, whereby when an application demands more cells, the price per cell drops at several tiers. For those similar with database systems, this is similar to the approach taken by Oracle in pricing by size of the database.
PIM accessories include the Flash Memory option, ParaScope drivers, LabView HMI, and I/O.
Finally, service, support, training, and customized development of both applications and I/O sub-systems can be provided.
If you are interested in discussing an application, please give us a call so that we can work with you to determine the best platform, and to size the PIM according to your needs. This will result in a quotation that you can take under consideration.
